In addition to treatment with conventional removable braces and brackets , a method has become established that uses so-called “aligners” or, in German: “aligners” is performed. In this treatment, the teeth are moved step by step using several thin plastic aligners that fit over the teeth.

Any tooth free of cavities with a healthy (inflammation-free) periodontium can generally be treated with Invisalign. Neither tooth alignment nor age is generally an obstacle to Invisalign treatment! Since Invisalign aligners are removed for eating and drinking, you can eat anything as usual. This is a major advantage over fixed braces. If that’s not possible, you should at least rinse your mouth with water to remove food particles before putting your Invisalign aligners back in. -
How do I brush my teeth when I’m wearing Invisalign?
